About PurrfectlyFold Scottish Fold Cattery

Scottish Fold Breeder in Pennsylvania, USA

Welcome to PurrfectlyFold, a TICA-registered Scottish Fold cattery located in Bucks County, near Philadelphia, PA, USA

Hi, I’m Tanya — the person behind PurrfectlyFold.
What started as a personal interest grew into a carefully run, small-scale breeding program focused on health, temperament, ethical practices, and lifelong support.

All kittens are raised in my home, not cages, with daily interaction, observation, and individual care from birth.

My Mission

My mission is simple:
to raise healthy, confident, well-socialized Scottish Fold kittens who thrive in their new homes.

I prioritize:

  • Health and genetics

  • Emotional well-being

  • Ethical, responsible breeding

  • Education and transparency

Every decision is made with the cats’ best interests first.

About Scottish Fold Cats

Scottish Folds stole my heart the moment I met one. With their sweet faces, soft folded ears, and calm, loving nature, they’re truly special.

This breed began with a single cat named Susie in Scotland, and from her, generations of these gentle, loyal companions followed.

Scottish Folds are quiet, affectionate, and love being near their people. Whether curled in your lap or following you from room to room, they’re always close — and always full of love.

A Little About Me (Why Details Matter Here)

Before breeding cats, I spent 29 years as a software developer, including 12 years working in C# for clinical research. My first major project supported Keytruda research in non-small cell lung cancer. Knowing my work helped people live longer was incredibly meaningful.

I’m also a lifelong caregiver and advocate.
My mom was once given just 9 months to live with lung cancer — she lived 16 more years.

I’m a proud mom of an adult child, who was born with an extremely rare metabolic condition and fought for her life at just three weeks old. Careful observation, research, and attention to detail saved her life — and that experience shaped everything I do.

That same mindset carries into my cattery. I’ve tube-fed and syringe-fed fragile newborn kittens when others might have given up. Those kittens are now thriving in loving homes.

Friends, neighbors, and fellow breeders often reach out to me for help with sick kittens, research, or guidance — and I’m always happy to help.
